Article from 2020 About Lil’ Swampy (Some inaccuracies)

“Chris B. of Woolwich, Maine has been making and selling swamp coolers for about 5 years. He’s made dozens in several versions, and he’s shipped them all over the world.

Lil’ Swampy is a reproduction of old-style window swamp coolers for cars and trucks. The Deluxo, a new, less expensive version of his original version and features DIY (build one yourself).

Chris has steadily developed a sort of “open source” swamp cooler using the best of his own designs and from feedback from the community and users. He’s tested each style first dry and then wet to prove its functionality. Chris’s tests in poor conditions make it clear that cool air CAN be achieved with regular ambient temperature water, no ice!”
