FAQs

1.Does Ecophage Fabrication restore swamp coolers?

Absolutely, Check out services under the store for more infromation.

2. Do Ecophage swamp coolers really work?

Yes, when bought with internals. (coolers are available empty to save you showroom guys some cash for yellow headlight lenses or something) Swamp coolers work by pulling heat energy out of the air via evaporation. The evaporation is achieved by soaking a reusable and replaceable filter (made by air quality specialists WEB products) or vintage style aspen fiber pad in water. Even warm water will achieve the desired result. As air is forced through the unit, it passes through a narrow gap above the filter tray, evaporating the water suspended in the wet filter pad quickly. Re-wet the filter with water according to the rate it seems to dry out. (Rate will vary based on air flow, temperature, humidity) Filter can be wet with spray bottles, or simply by pulling the tray out, pouring some water all over it and shaking it a bit.

5. Do you ship internationally

Of coarse, but shipping rates are crazy now adays, Plus it adds a level of difficulty in distance and fees so read the shipping section closely for tips on protecting yourself and your cooler to help it arrive safely. (mainly checking for damage before opening and doing so at the post office so you can refuse delivery if the unit is damaged. Also research your countries duty fees and consider having it sent as a gift)

6. I don’t see a part I need, do you have XXXX?

Ecophage is a fabricator, which means mass producing these parts isn’t as fun as a challenge. If I don’t have what you’re looking for, I’ll likely get it done and charge you no more than standard reasonable rates.
